2012 wedding wrap up

Whoa, I can't believe this year is over!  I have met so many great people through weddings; from photographers, stylists, make up artists, and of course BRIDES! Being involved in twelve weddings and one styled wedding photo shoot( w/ Lexia Frank and One Fine Day Productions) ya all have kept me on my toes to say the least. I loved every single bride and their families. I love to hear their stories and how they got to where they are in matters of the heart.

I have to give a HUGE shout out to Jennifer Fitzpatrick of Jennyface. You not only encouraged me this year but inspired me! I continue to learn from you each and everyday. Although we are no longer close in distance you will forever be close to my heart girl! Good luck and high five for following through with you dreams. (xo)

Some of you know that I was part of a very special photoshoot in the beginning of the month. I was asked to be a part of the dream-team by Jennyface and couldn't turn down this awesome opportunity.  I'm sharing a few of the Behind the Scenes shots but hope to share the professional shots later this year.

Creative Director Lexia of Lexia Frank Photography and Co-Creative Director Amy of One Fine Day Productions put their heads together and produced this rich, woodsy, man's perspective of a wedding. Production Assistants were Meghan Wanserski & Jennifer Johnson. Using some of the best venders of south central Wisconsin, their vision became reality (in a staged wedding sort of way) and it was gorgeous!  It took place at Camp Wandawega (or Wandawega Lake Resort), the mens clothing was provided by Context Clothing, the vintage rentals were from A La Crate, catering/food design by Barry from Fontaine Designs, hair and make up by Jenny Fitzpatrick from Jennyface, her amazing friend Jacinda, and yours truely!  Floral design provided by  Donna Sager from Garden Laurels. paper goods by Heather from Sugar River Stationers, and  the bridal dress designer was Monica Freng from Monirose.  Stay tuned for more info on where you can see the full artistic vision>>>

>>>UPDATE 11/1/12: Now on Becca Dilley's Blog. Check it out HERE<<<

What a beautiful Friday for a wedding! Melissa and her attendants were preparing for the big day at Melissa and her fiancé's new home in Fitchburg. I was house envious immediately, it was the perfect home for a family. For Melissa's attire she had some great shoes, which she purchased long before the dress. And the dress is fromBrandi's Bridal in New Glarus, Wi. Both matched perfectly. For her hair she was dreaming of a long side pony, so with some matching clip-in extensions we got her there, and it turned out perfect!

Melissa's sister, Amanda had a special gift for her wedding day... PEZ Bride and Groom, how perfect!

Loved this boho braided style on her attendant Angie.

The MOH Diane went with smoother more defined curls then her natural curl, looking lovely!

Natasha {wedding | Madison, wi}

When I first met Natasha she came in to the salon with her sisters. She has 4 sister and all of them are nice as pie. Natasha loves vintage and therefore her wedding was designed very rustic and vintage with little modern twists. She knew she wanted her hair up and twisted back with a messier look at the nape. Coming from South Dakota she had her trail the week of her wedding, and it went great! Her and her man were actually married five years ago, in order for her to travel around with him in the military. They did a courthouse wedding and not much of a celebration back then. At 25 they decided to have the big shindig. The wedding and reception was at John Wall Family Pavilion in Tenney Park and they were going to have a pig roast. This park pavilion opened this spring and looks beautiful. The bride wanted a more casual but decorated celebration.

Last minute we decided to keep twisting the hair from the sides and intertwine them, it turned out beautiful! Even brought tears to her eyes, she was so excited it turned out better then she pictured in her head.
